“I would totally recommend Darren at Able2 Pest Control.

We found mites in our house and really struggled to find someone who was prepared to deal with them. The council pest control came out first and spent all of 30 seconds looking at an example of one we have on a piece of tape. They didn’t even bother to look around the house. Told us to sort out the humidity in our house and that was all that could be done – no treatment available. They were in the house for approximately 3 minutes.

We weren’t happy with this and started the search for help again. Came across Darren’s number on Google and straight away on the phone he made us feel at ease, he came out the next day. First thing he did was use a microscope to correctly identify the mite which turned out to be a plaster beetle. He was very knowledgeable and talked me through all of the options to deal with the issue and advised me about the success rates of each. I had a lot of questions, some of which probably sounded a bit daft to him but he gave me plenty of time and answered every question in a professional manner and in a way I could understand. Darren stayed for about an hour, explaining everything and looking around the house, in every room. We had also found cluster flies in our loft and he dealt with these all in the same treatment, very impressed.

The treatment was arranged and carried out 2 days later after Darren had fully explained the preparation needed and he was once again professional and very helpful when he returned. He has even been back since to check progress and so far everything looks great.”
